Clay Snowmen

Here are a few clay pieces I finished for a fall craft show. These were totally fun to make, a little time consuming, but fun, none the less.

New Blogging Adventure

I read someones blog post about a month ago it talked about keeping her blog creative and free from all the everyday drama. I know we all live with the hustle and bustle of life, but why dwell on it. My dreams for this blog, are that it will be a place for me to keep track of all my creative endeavors, wither it be, clay art, paper art, home decor, scrapbooking, photography, or anything else I am working on at the time. Don't get me wrong, there will be an occasional family moment, being as I am mostly a stay at home mom with 4 kids and a lot of my photography is of them.
I hope to encourage my readers to go out and be creative and to try things they never thought possible. My first encounter with something creative was when I had my first child, 13 years ago. I started scrapbooking as a way to keep memories for him to have. I picked up my first paintbrush when I became a stay-at-home mom, 7 years ago, and I re-finished my first piece of furniture when I was no longer working and didn't have the income to finance new furniture. I have been truly blessed with many talents and I know none of them would have developed into what they are today if it had not been for the faith I had to quit my job and decide to stay at home with my kids. Please, don't think I am telling you to rush out and quit your jobs or you won't be creative, I am simply saying the more you work at something the better we get at it. So, here is to a new creative adventure I hope to share with many others.
